Please join Dusyk & Barlow Insurance Brokers Ltd staff for four weeks of Christmas cheer! As always, we have selected four local causes to which we will contribute time and funds over the Christmas season.

Each Dusyk & Barlow location has bins where people can drop off the requested items. We will also accept cash/cheque donations to your chosen non-profit(s)

Here are the FOUR LOCAL charities/non-profits we have picked to highlight and support in 2024

Saskatchewan Professional Fire Fighters and Paramedics Burn Fund

The Burn Fund’s noble mission encompasses many initiatives to enhance burn care and prevention in Saskatchewan. Notably, it has made substantial investments in vital healthcare facilities, including the Burn Units at RUH, Regina General Hospital and the Hyperbaric Unit at Moose Jaw Union Hospital. These contributions are complemented by support for the Children’s Burn Camp, which provides an invaluable experience for young survivors, and a series of awareness programs meticulously designed to reduce both the occurrence of fires and the severity of burn injuries.

Additionally, the Burn Fund extends its generous reach to the individual level, offering ongoing support to burn victims on their arduous paths to recovery. This support is not limited to physical rehabilitation but also encompasses emotional and psychological assistance, recognizing the holistic nature of recovery.

Regina Food Bank

The staff, volunteers, and donors of the Regina Food Bank feed hope. They do this with food – the ultimate connector that brings people together, a charitable community-based organization working to fight food insecurity through nutritious food distribution, education, and support programs. They restore dignity, health and hope for their clients. They also build community – rallying the community to make Regina a more fair, caring, and dynamic city. Join the fight against hunger.

Carmichael Outreach

Carmichael Outreach is a registered charity in Regina, Saskatchewan, providing various services to those in our community who experience poverty and homelessness. Their mission is to foster empowerment through dignity, respect, and advocacy in our community.

Their vision is to see the end of poverty and homelessness in our community. We know that this will be a big job—no one person, group, or organization can end homelessness alone. That is why we all must unite to do our parts, however big or small.

Together, we CAN end poverty and homelessness!

Souls Harbour Mission Regina

For over 30 years, Souls Harbour Rescue Mission has offered help and hope to men, women and children in Saskatchewan and beyond. With a shared history of two organizations blended in purpose to reach out to those in need, we have spent decades working to meet the needs of those in our community to the best of our ability. In that time, they have served over 3 million meals, gave away more than 1 million pieces of clothing, and provided more than 100,000 nights of emergency shelter! In addition to this, those participating in our addiction programs have received more than 120,000 hours of class time and over 2,500 counselling sessions! They have also touched the lives of numerous families through our daycare and youth centre.

To rescue people from poverty and addiction by offering the Gospel message through emergency help, such as food, clothing and shelter, and Life-Changing Recovery Programs.
